Heritage Site installs Merlin
Canterbury Cathedral
have installed Merlin in their admission booths and welcome centre. They have
specifically chosen Merlin because of it's ability to process Gift Aid
donations at the point of sale and capture customer details.
The
Cathedral attracts thousands of visitors each year and is the mother church of
the Anglican Communion and seat of the Archbishop of Canterbury.

Ampleforth Abbey is a
community of Benedictine monks, living under the Rule of St Benedict and an
Abbot, on the southern edge of the North Yorkshire Moors National Park.
They run two schools, several parishes, a house of studies in Oxford, a
monastic mission in Zimbabwe, a small publishing company, an energy company
(water), a bookshop, an orchard, and a thriving hospitality and pastoral
department for adult and school-age guests.
Merlin was recently
installed to help give the Monks better control of the bookshop which sells
books, gifts and CD's.

Merlin
The De La Warr Pavillion
in Bexhill have installed Merlin in their new shop. The Pavilion reopened to
the public on 15 October 2005 after an £8 million restoration and
refurbishment project. It is the principal centre for contemporary art,
architecture, education and entertainment on the south coast.
The
Pavilions new shop has a wide range of contemporary art books, magazines,
postcards and childrens books, a select line of beautifully designed
merchandise and souvenirs unique to the De La Warr Pavilion. |
